Elimination Diet
The Elimination Diet (this is a program, not a test) is often our first port of call and is considered the gold standard for uncovering food intolerances. The Elimination Diet is a short term eating plan that eliminates certain foods that may be causing your symptoms. After symptoms resolve, foods are then reintroduced back in one by one while monitoring your symptoms.
The Elimination Diet does not cost you anything extra and can be incorporated into your individualised program when you book with us. Alternatively, you can purchase our very own online program (Freedom From Food Intolerances Online Program) that takes you through the steps of an elimination diet and helps you to create your very own individualised diet.

Pathology Testing for Allergies & Intolerance
Some of the pathology tests we use for food allergies, intolerances and sensitivities:
- IgE (immune-immediate reaction) is often elevated in atopic diseases such as allergic asthma, hay fever and atopic dermatitis. IgE can assess your reaction to both foods and inhalants such as tress and mould.
- IgG (delayed reaction) can assess your delayed reaction to foods and also inhalants including grasses and mould, as well as cat dander, dog dander, and household dust.
- Gluten Sensitivity & Coeliac Gene Testing. Coeliac Gene Testing is useful for those who already adhere to a gluten free diet, as it does not require the consumption of gluten for the test.
At The Wellness Emporium we often combined the IgE and IgG test to get the best possible picture and results.
