At The Wellness Emporium, we create a supportive and non-judgemental environment, ensuring that your nutrition plan aligns with your lifestyle, preferences, and long-term wellness goals.
During your initial consultation, our dietitian will take the time to understand your health history, dietary habits, lifestyle factors, and specific goals. We will work collaboratively to develop a personalised nutrition plan tailored to your needs, offering realistic and sustainable strategies for lasting results.
Many clients feel overwhelmed when starting their nutrition journey—please know that we are here to support you every step of the way. To get the most out of your consultation, you may find it helpful to jot down any questions, concerns, or goals you’d like to discuss in advance.
Michaela is passionate about helping you achieve your health goals. Whether you’re looking for support with gut health, hormonal balance, weight management, chronic disease management or sports performance, she is here to guide you with personalised, evidence-based strategies.

Do I need a referral from my GP?
You do not need a referral. However, to be eligible for medicare rebates you will require a CDM or EPC Plan from your GP. If you have one, this must be brought to your first session.
Private Health Funds
Our Accredited Practicing Dietitians are registered with most private health funds. If you have private health insurance that includes dietetics or nutrition as extras cover you may be eligible for a rebate. Depending on the health fund and the degree of insurance coverage, private health fund rebates will vary. For further information on your individual coverage, we advise getting in touch with your insurance company.
We have HICAPs facility on site, so we will be able to process this at the time of payment for you so you will only have to pay the gap.
*Please note: you can not use both medicare rebates and private health insurance in one transaction – you will have to choose one or the other.
Self-Referrals
Self-referrals are welcome, in the instance that you would prefer not to visit your GP to get a referral or are not eligible under Medicare, you can simply make an appointment to see one of our therapists. Self-referred clients are responsible for covering the full cost of their own sessions.
