At The Wellness Emporium we offer a wide variety of testing including both general pathology and functional testing, to give you and your practitioner further insight into the underlying cause/s of your condition.
General pathology looks at any abnormality against baselines that are causing changes in the structure or function of body parts. At The Wellness Emporium we use a number of tests to help to identify abnormalities including thyroid hormones, full blood count, inflammatory markers such as CRP or Hs-CRP/ ESR, Vitamins & Minerals, Glucose and Insulin, Iron Studies, MTHFR, SIBO breath tests , H.pylori and Female and Male Sex Hormones.
Functional Pathology Tests assesses the function of a particular organ or body system, rather than looking for a specific disease or abnormality. At The Wellness Emporium we use a number of functional pathology tests including comprehensive stool analysis , heavy metal hair analysis, allergies, sensitivities and intolerances and urine and salivary hormone testing.
As part of our initial naturopathic appointment & program we provide you with recommended general and functional pathology tests and where indicated also refer you to one of our GPs for further testing that are specific to your case.

We also offer pre-consult functional testing & naturopathic consult packages for those who already know what they want tested. Please note we do not offer all functional testing online – booking in a consult will give you access to a wider range of testing along with guidance from your practitioner.
