Hi! I’m Chae, Naturopath, Educator, Speaker & founder of The Wellness Emporium on the Gold Coast.
With over 7 years of experience as a naturopath, I am passionate about inspiring, empowering and educating others to reclaim their health through a holistic, personalised approach. My philosophy centres on uncovering the root causes of health concerns—not just treating symptoms. By combining in-depth consultations, thorough health history, pathology & functional testing and assessment and of course emotional exploration, I develop achievable, supportive wellness plans tailored to each individual.
I have a deep love for all things microbiome, having undertaken extensive research and numerous post-graduate courses focused on the gut, vaginal, and skin microbiomes. I also have a strong interest in the gut-brain connection and how emotions and trauma influence our gut health, and vice versa. Women’s health is another area I’ve invested significant study into, particularly hormonal conditions like PCOS and endometriosis.
My passion for digestive health, skin issues, and women’s health stems from my own personal journey. Before I pursued naturopathy, I worked as a teacher, which allowed me to travel the world. I worked extensively overseas and also in the education sector in Australia. However, I haven’t always been the bright & bubbly health advocate I am today. Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at the age of 10, I spent much of my childhood navigating hospitals, the main stress medical system, medications, and the challenges of living with chronic illness. Over the years, I also faced polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, cystic acne, and hypothyroidism, among other health hurdles, alongside emotional challenges like PTSD, anxiety, and OCD.
I know firsthand the toll poor health can take on every aspect of life, from relationships to work and even the food you eat. But I also know the power of taking back control—and I am deeply committed to helping others do the same.

Alongside seeing clients 1 on 1 in my clinical practice, my mission is to empower, motivate and inspire large groups of people to live healthier and more positive lives. I work with others in both collaboration, as well as a guest speaker for events and retreats both international and nationally. FUN FACTS ABOUT ME
- Most weekends you will find me by the sea
- I love keeping fit with yoga and reformer pilates
- I am an avid researcher and tend to get lost in web pages for several hours – my most researched topics would be gut health
- I have a fur baby, who you may meet in the clinic called Sage
- I can’t eat enough of… chocolate (healthy chocolate of course)
- I took electives in Buddhist Studies during my Education degree
- My favourite season is SUMMER – and I love spending my days off on the water
- My Saturday mornings consist of going for a nice breakfast and the farmers markets
- My favourite homemade breakfast is my gluten free pancakes or waffles, which you will find in my ebook.
- My favourite place in the world is my home – Gold Coast, Australia.
- I lived and worked in Vietnam teaching as well as the detention centre in Naura
- I have a love for travel and have backpacked solo around Europe a few times – my favourite places were Rome and Athens for their amazing ancient history along with seaside destinations including Portugal, Spain, Greece & Croatia.
