Online Purchase – Terms & Conditions
By completing a purchase through The Wellness Emporium website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all online purchases including, but not limited to, pathology and functional testing packages, eBooks and downloadable materials, supplement and product orders, online programs and courses, and any other products or services listed on our website.
- Australian Consumer Law
Our refund and returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law as defined by Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory Consumer Guarantees.
- No Refund Policy
Due to the nature of our services and products, The Wellness Emporium does not offer refunds or returns on online purchases. This applies to, but is not limited to:
- Pathology and functional testing packages (
- eBooks and downloadable digital materials
- Supplements and health products
- Online programs and courses
- Naturopathic, nutrition, and health consultations purchased online
This policy exists because we are limited by legislation governing health and hygiene products, the nature of virtual product delivery, and the fact that third-party costs (including laboratory processing fees) are incurred at the time of purchase and cannot be recovered.
- Functional & Pathology Testing Packages — Important Notice
When you purchase a testing package, the associated laboratory costs are paid to our third-party provider on your behalf at the time of purchase. This means:
- Your test kit will be ordered and dispatched promptly following payment.
- Refunds cannot be issued once a testing package has been purchased, regardless of whether the test kit has been used or the associated appointment has been attended.
- If you choose not to proceed with your appointment after receiving your results, no refund will be issued for the testing package or any associated consultation fee.
We strongly encourage you to consider your readiness to complete the full testing and consultation process prior to purchasing.
- Practitioner & Appointment Time Preferences
Where the option is provided at checkout to indicate a preferred practitioner or appointment time, please note that these are preferences only and cannot be guaranteed.
- Availability is subject to change and is determined at the time of scheduling.
- We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your stated preference, however The Wellness Emporium does not guarantee any specific practitioner or appointment time.
- If your preferred practitioner or time is unavailable, we will offer suitable alternatives.
Inability to accommodate a stated preference does not constitute grounds for a refund.
- Defective Products & Services
In the event of a defect with any product or service purchased through our website, you must contact us immediately at hello@thewellnessemporium.com.au so that our team can work with you to reach a suitable resolution.
- Defective physical products must be returned within fourteen (14) days of the original postage date to be eligible for replacement.
- Items will be replaced with the same product originally purchased.
- We do not offer cash refunds for defective items — replacements will be provided.
- Digital Products & Downloadable Materials
All sales of eBooks, digital downloads, online programs, and courses are final. Due to the nature of digital delivery, we are unable to offer refunds once access has been granted or a file has been downloaded. Please review all product descriptions carefully before purchasing.
- Pricing & Payment
All prices listed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST where applicable. Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept payment via the methods listed at checkout.
- Policy Updates
These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time. Any changes will take effect when the updated version is posted to The Wellness Emporium website. Your continued use of our website and services constitutes acceptance of the current version of these terms.
